Wild Cattle Creek Estate offers luxury Yarra Valley Winery accommodation options with fine dining at our onsite Restaurant and tutored Yarra Valley Wine Tasting in our Cellar Door. Accommodation options range from the luxury of Wallace Historic Homestead B&B accommodation maintained in true 19th century style to our modern fully self contained Lotus and Vineyard Villas.

Behind 200 year old doors our Cellar Door offers a wide selection of premium wines crafted from the fruit from our vineyard in the Upper Yarra Valley and here at Wild Cattle Creek Estate. Join us at the bar and enjoy a Tutored Wine Tasting with your choice of 11 table wines and 2 sparkling wines, one being our latest release Sparkling Merlot.

Restaurant, Weddings, or Functions

Wild Cattle Creek Estate is a wonderful location for a Wedding Celebration, Corporate Function or other special event being the complete package with onsite Accommodation, Vineyard atmosphere, our own Estate Wines and the glorious manicured gardens can be enjoyed by all. The menu also caters for lunch with friends, an intimate dinner, a snack in the Cellar Door all with an extensive range of tastes and is ever changing reflecting seasonal produce of the Yarra Valley.

 Shedfest

 Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th October 2012

All wineries have sheds, usually housing crushers, barrels, tractors & other equipment vitally important to the production of fine wines. Every year, on the second weekend in October, 9 wineries along Warburton Highway open their sheds for 2 days of fabulous food, fine wine, live music and entertainment. Each year Wild Cattle Creek Estate offers a unique promotional offer redeemable by voucher so as the time gets closer watch this space for further promotional giveaways.

The Yarra Valley… tucked away villages, forest drives, festivals, wineries, cycling trails, ballooning, dining and escaping. Wild Cattle Creek Estate is located on the Warburton Hwy in the heart of the Valley and is the ideal location in which to spend a weekend exploring our beautiful Valley.

Wild Cattle Creek Estate,  in the heart of the Yarra Valley, is surrounded by history and heritage that has stamped its place as one of the world’s premium wine regions. The Yarra Valley was first planted in the late 19th century,  yet the industry fell on hard times and was virtually abandoned during the 1920′s when timber became the primary focus of attention. Logging in the Warburton and Marysville areas remained the mainstay of commerce until the 1960′s when Dr McMahon replanted on a small estate in Seville. Soon, growers returned to the Valley and the region was revitalised as one of Australia’s favourite tourist regions and grape growing areas. Today, the Yarra Valley proudly boasts an ecclectic mix of over 70 boutique and large wineries, growers, and a host of fascinating tourism activities. Wild Cattle Creek Estate Cellar Door opened it’s 200 year old doors in February 2005.

The vineyard at Wild Cattle Creek Estate was established a little earlier, in the year of 2002.  Much of the fruit for the range of Wild Cattle Creek Estate wines comes from our sister Vineyard at Langbrook Estate vineyard in the Upper Yarra Valley, which was established in the 1980′s and is one of the largest vineyards in the region
